Introduction to 3Keel Commodity Reporting 2025
Introduction to 3Keel Commodity Reporting 2025
Welcome to the introductory guide to this year's Collective Commodity Reporting Process with 3Keel. We are an independent sustainability consultancy with expertise in commodity supply chains and we have been running this reporting process for nine years.
This year's reporting covers cocoa, coffee, palm oil and soy used to produce own-brand products for the participating companies over the period of January 1st 2025 to Dec 31st 2025.
Why do I have to report?
Your customers are currently working towards achieving verified deforestation and conversion free supply chains. This reporting process is a valuable step in evidencing progress towards these commitments by improving supply chain traceability. As 2025 is a key year for both voluntary
commitments and legislative requirements,
gathering accurate and detailed supply chain
data is now more important than ever.
If you have been asked to report on soy, please note that the scope of the reporting covers both soy contained as an ingredient in food and soy contained within animal feed. This is because around 75% of soy imported to Europe is used in feed. If you supply animal products but do not have access to information on soy in feed, the 'No Feed information' tab in the soy declaration form can calculate your soy footprint based on the volumes of animal-based ingredients you sold to your customers in the 2025 calendar year.

How do I access my reporting portal?
- If you have been listed as a supplier in scope for this years reporting, you will have been sent an email invite to validate your customers and complete the declarations. This will come from Mondra and may land in your junk or spam email inbox. Please follow the link shown in this email.
- If you are have not received the email invitation, please reach out to us at support.3keel@mondra.com with the customer name and commodity you are supposed to be reporting for, and we will assign you the relevant survey and resend you the link.
How do colleagues gain access the portal?
- If another member of your organisation needs access to the account, they will need to register their email on the Mondra platform. The 3Keel team will then validate this account access request. Alternatively, please email support.3keel@mondra.com with the name of your account and your colleagues details and we will add and approve their request manually.
What are the deadlines for submitting our data?
- The deadline for submitting your data is 23th January 2026.

Incorrect Surveys and Exclusion Requests:
- If you are out of scope for this years reporting and have been asked to complete a customer survey, please file an exclusion request for the relevant commodity surveys by answering 'no' to the relevant validation questions in your portal. This will be either accepted or rejected by the customer at which point you will be notified.
Soy: What are the scope parameters for this years reporting?
Below are some guidelines for determining whether your products fall within the scope of the soy reporting process:
- By
products: out of scope (except animal
collagen).
- See
Table 1 below for some common examples
- Compound ingredients: out of scope
- Ingredients
bought by suppliers ready made, e.g. chocolate chips in a cookie
- Please note that compound ingredients still fall within the scope of the palm, cocoa, and coffee reporting processes.
- Animals not fed on soy e.g. 100% grass-fed
cattle or wild game: in scope
- Your customer(s) have asked suppliers to to
give positive affirmation that soy is not included in animal diets.
- For a supplier supplying exclusively products from animals that
have not been fed soy at any point in their life cycle, they can request
exclusion prior to completing the volume declaration, and will be asked to
state a soy-free diet as the reason for exclusion being requested.
- For a supplier supplying a
mix of products from animals that have been fed soy and those who haven’t, they
will be asked to report on the volumes for livestock products from animals that
have not been fed on soy, but to report the FCR and/or soy content in feed as
0.
