Introduction to 3Keel Commodity Reporting 2025
Welcome to the introductory guide to this year's Collective Commodity Reporting Process with 3Keel. We are an independent sustainability consultancy with expertise in commodity supply chains and we have been running this reporting process for eight years.
This year's reporting covers cocoa, coffee, palm oil and soy used to produce own-brand products for the participating retailers over the period of January 1st 2025 to Dec 31st 2025.
In November we ran a webinar explaining more about the process and why your customers are requesting data. If you didn't get the chance to attend, here is a link to the recording:
Why do I have to report?
Your customers are currently working towards achieving verified deforestation and conversion free supply chains. This reporting process is a valuable step in evidencing progress towards these commitments by improving supply chain traceability. As 2025 is a key year for both voluntary
commitments and legislative requirements,
gathering accurate and detailed supply chain
data is now more important than ever.
If you have been asked to report on soy, please note that the scope of the reporting covers both soy contained as an
ingredient in food and soy contained within
animal feed. This is because around
75% of soy imported to Europe is used in feed. If you supply animal products but do not have access to information on soy in feed, the 'Packer' and 'Non Livestock Producer' tabs in the soy declaration form can calculate your soy footprint based on the volumes of animal-based ingredients you sold to your customers in the 2025 calendar year.
